Donating Dentistry Is At The Heart Of What We Do

What Is
Servants of Smiles

Servants of Smiles (SOS) - a beacon of hope for those without access to regular dental care.  Our organization is dedicated to bringing smiles to those in need through  a one-day community event held in private dental offices.  Generous practitioners and their teams donate their time and services, offering a range of essential dental treatments including dental cleanings, fillings, and tooth extractions - all completely free of charge to the community we serve.

At Servants of Smiles, our foundation is built on compassion and a collective commitment to uplift our community for the betterment of all.  We believe that every smile matters, and through our dedicated efforts, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.  Check below for our next upcoming event!

Why Our
Free Dentistry Day Matters

According to the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, 76.5 million adults in the U.S. do not have dental insurance and many go without preventative dental treatment and procedures they need, simply because they do not have the financial means to pay for it.

Oral health is vital to a person’s overall health and well-being. Common dental issues such as cavities and gum disease can affect not only your ability to speak or eat properly, but if left untreated, can lead to many problems:

- Issues such as tooth loss, tooth misalignment, or periodontal disease

- Periodontal disease-related heart disease, diabetes, oral cancer, stroke, and kidney disease

- The need for lengthy, expensive dental work to correct

- Self-esteem and confidence issues

People who are unable to regularly visit the dentist have the opportunity to receive select services provided during Free Dentistry Day events to improve the quality of not just their oral health, but their overall health and well-being.

Free Dental Day Services

All patients have the option to choose between one of the following:

We know that good oral health can have a significant impact on your overall health & we believe that preventive maintenance is the smartest thing you can do to stay healthy.

We use the latest technology and updated products to benefit you and your dental health. We are proud to use the best treatment methods so we can delight our patients with great results.

Sometimes even the best preventive care can’t eliminate the need for surgery. We offer an extraction or a wisdom tooth removal. We perform these surgeries with as little pain as possible to assure a quick recovery.

This event is primarily for adults. There are options such as Medicaid and Medicare for children to seek medical attention. With adults it's harder to seek help and we want to give back to those in need.

If the team hosting the event has team members volunteering that can speak Spanish, they will be available to translate.
